International GCSE Exams

IGCSE

As part of EIPACA’s program to provide additional educational opportunities for students, we are able to offer secondary school students the possibility of taking the IGCSE examinations. These are international
qualifications offered by a recognized United Kingdom educational authority. The GCSE exams are compulsory in the UK at the end of S5 or Seconde.
In order to comply with the new UK Department of Education requirements, please note that from last year onwards, the Examination body EDEXCEL has put in place a new marking system.

These exams are optional and must be paid for by the individual student. The examinations are administered locally by our parents’ association IPM.
The exams usually take place in May/June of the school year, and on average, around 30 students per year choose to take one or more IGCSE exam.
Please note that for some subjects, the curriculum is slightly different to the ones at EIPACA and our teachers do not prepare students specifically for the IGCSE exams. Here is the link to the list of subjects

Dans le cadre de nos efforts pour enrichir l’offre éducative proposée aux élèves, l’Ecole EIPACA donne la possibilité à tous les élèves de présenter les examens du système éducatif britannique.
Afin de se conformer aux nouvelles exigences du Département de l’Education Anglais, veuillez noter que, depuis 2019, l’organisme de contrôle EDEXCEL a mis en place un nouveau système de

Ces examens sont facultatifs et payants. Ils sont administrés dans le cadre des services proposés par l’association des parents IPM.
Veuillez noter que pour certaines matières, le programme est légèrement différent de celui de l’EIPACA et que nos enseignants ne préparent pas les élèves spécifiquement aux examens de l’IGCSE.
