Tales from Shakespeare

Tales from Shakespeare

Hello
This is my S1 Literature class with their brilliant posters designed in Art class with Sarah Monaco. We worked on a joint project based on the Tales from Shakespeare. Each student group was assigned a tale to read and present in Literature and they worked on a poster illustrating that tale and its theme in Art.
Enjoy!

Junk Kouture project

Junk Kouture project

Students from the European school, art option take part in the Junk Kouture competition with their creations made from recycled materials.

Junk Kouture is a creative programme for young people. For the past 11 years, it has challenged post-primary school students to create high-end designs from waste. Integrating elements of environmental sustainability, fashion, art, design and engineering, Junk Kouture annually features aspiring designers aged 13-18 taking on the challenge of creating wearable fashion - the golden rule being that everything used must be 100% recycled. Junk Kouture is now available to over a million school children in six countries, and has recently launched in five new locations around the world: London, New York, Paris, Milan and Abu Dhabi. Junk Kouture will roll out in these territories, with the City final in Paris in May/June 2022, before the first ever global final in September 2022.

S1 & 6° poems 2020

S1 & 6° poems 2020

My students always amaze me and this year, my S1 class has certainly done that in writing a poem about their school.
As Maya Angelou said: ‘You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.’
Some students did not want their poems published or signed and I have respected their wish.
Enjoy!
