The Prix Atlas des lycéens has been awarded since 1999 to high school students from the South region for the best literary translation of an original German, English, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Italian and Provençal text. Under the impetus of Madame Lauria, Italian Language and Literature teacher, the Second year students took up this challenge brilliantly!
The first and second prizes for translation from Italian into French were won by Zoé Prohom-Pianalto with Esther De Guillebon (former student of the school) and Laura Sapet from Madame Lauria’s 2nd grade class.
This is the second time that the Italian international section has distinguished itself brilliantly in this literary translation competition: during the 2020 edition, Lucca Marie won first prize for the Italian section.
